Laser Tattoo Removal

Since 10-15% of the US population have tattoos, requests for laser tattoo removal are increasingly common. Tattoo removal involves a significant amount of time and cost investment for patients. For this reason, Dr. Vasily has developed new techniques for laser removal of tattoos and removal of resistant tattoos at Aesthetica that are the subject of ongoing research and refinement. Currently, there are 2 different types of lasers used in tattoo removal at Aesthetica's Bethlehem office.  Palomar’s Q-switched YAG™ laser is very effective in removing black and red inks from both professional and home applied tattoos as well as traumatic tattoos. Aesthetica recently acquired a new state of the art tattoo removal laser known as the Sinon™ Ruby laser.  This laser has been shown to be extremely effective in removing otherwise difficult to remove ink colors such as green, blue, brown, resistant black and navy blue.
