Research and Community Support

Ongoing Research at Aesthetica:
Dr. Vasily, is extensively involved in the development of new laser technology. He consults with numerous laser companies and gives both design and clinical input to develop safe and effective lasers for treatment of many different skin conditions. Dr. Vasily is also involved in research and development of new cosmeceutical products that are currently awaiting patent approval. A number of these products will soon be appearing in the skin care marketplace for public consumption.

Dr. Vasily and Aesthetica continues to lead the way in fractional laser research.  His treatment protocols for laser scare revision are now utilized nationally and internationally and were published in the November 2009 issue of "The Journal of Drugs and Dermatology".  He has also presented webinars on this subject and you can read about Dr. Vasily's research in laser scar revision on:  http://www.scars1.com/Hero/Dr_David_B_Vasily  

Community Support:
We are grateful for the community’s support and, as a result, Aesthetica’s marketing plan includes sponsorship of community events such as 19th Street Film Festival at Civic Little Theatre. Aesthetica is also proud to support the efforts of Valley Youth House, a highly respected local organization that attends to the family and children's psychological counseling needs. In addition, we support other local charities including KidsPeace, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Autism Speaks and the St. Luke's Ball. Dr. Vasily feels strongly that it is important to support these organizations in our community.
